Hot Wheels?

Remember laying on the shag carpet rolling that Hot Wheels car through your imaginary city running from the Law and racing everything that you could? Well I think Mark from Break Lites out of Massachusetts imagined the same thing, but decided to carry it on into his adulthood. Wow did he do one hell of a job! I looked at this bike and it took me back to seven years old again. The Gixer has see through plastics, a back up camera, lights in the seats, and no the girls is not included. Great Job Mark and thanks for letting me shoot the Bike.

I Love Them All

As I travel to events and meet riders of all ages, races, sex, and size. I see that there seems to be a division of some sorts that I do not understand. So as I am riding now and then. I pass other riders and give the low hand wave, but wait! Some riders don't wave back. Is it me I wonder? Maybe they are just too tired to wave? Maybe it is my bike. The Suzuki GSXR dropped low and all black. It is a menacing creature,, but certainly not unfriendly. Hell I am riding it and I love everyone. Seems as I ride I keep score. The sport bike riders are definitely more eager to wave to me. I guess they feel as if we are on the same team. Team? Could it be as riders we are divided into teams of whose cool and whose not? "I am on the V-twin team" "American Made only". Some are on the Stretched out slammed down Japaneses bikes team (if that is a word). How about the old guy Gold Wingers? The WING as they call it. Then there is the BMW group "ole chap". Me I think I just belong to the two wheel group. I love them all. Next time you see me wave no matter what you are on.

Back Yard Built Bobber

I found this beauty at Thunder By the Bay. It was built here in Sarasota by Phil Colandro the owner. He certainly did a great job with this Rev Tech powered Blue Rigid. Love the peace sign ignition key Phil, keep up the good work.

THUNDER BY THE BAY 2010

The 2010 THUNDER BY THE BAY was held last month in downtown Sarasota although cold and windy the hardcore real Suncoast Riders showed up to have fun. Some rode in and others, well they stayed in the warmth of their four wheeled cages. As for this writer I was bundled up and in the warmth of the big truck.
O.k., the event was an overall success in my opinion and the beer was cold. The bands were awesome and there was a nice turn out for the bike show despite the weather. I was able to grab some photos for you and they will be displayed soon enough.
For now ride safe SCR.
